The recent collection for the Sick & Retired Priests Fund of the Westminster Archdiocese totalled £2319. There have also been gifts of £200, £250 and £2,500 which have been put towards the provision of the planned disabled access. God will know best how to reward the kindness of the donors!
The parish Christmas Fayre will be on 28th November from 10.30am-2pm. Sister Catherine appeals for new and quality goods to fill the stalls (these may be left at the Rectory any weekday 9am-4pm.
On Friday 11th December, we shall host the Choir of the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School who will join the Belgravia Chamber Orchestra in a concert of works by William Walton. The concert begins at 7.30pm. There are notices at the back of church with details of the programme and where to buy tickets etc.
The Parish Christmas Carol Service will be on Wednesday16th December at 7pm. St Vincent’s School Carol Service will be here in church at 2pm on Tuesday 8th December.
Taizé Prayer Group: meet on Tuesdays, at 7.00pm in the Lady Chapel. All welcome to attend. For more details contact Penny28HB@aol.com
The RCIA (adult instruction) meets on Tuesday at 7pm in the Rectory. As we have only just begun the course new members are very welcome to turn up and join in.
The First Holy Communion programme will have three sessions this week – on Tuesday at 3,30pm, and then on Wednesday at 3.30pm & 4.30pm. It is hoped that the variation of time and day will suit everyone involved. We gather in the catechetical centre in the crypt.
Those seeking Confirmation have their first meeting in the Rectory at 4.30pm on Sunday 6th December.
